It's hard to make good choices when you have limited information. I'd like to add something to that regarding this part here. Simply going back to the old approach would be a waste imo - placing greater limitations on the party's movement makes for more interesting choices. The 90 step system penalising careless pathing made sense to me, but I'm sure there are other ways of achieving the same aim. You should try to change some things one at a time, and now change every core mechanics, as it's also really hard to judge if something is good for the game or not, it's like playing a whole different game, and I just felt that the previous update was way better The price to use the teleport now feels really bad too, it's incredibly expensive I think, and should be reduced a lot (like 50-100). But maybe was it because I was also using the new character which i'm not too familiar with.īut yeah, overall, I liked the 30 steps thing, it was just great, easy to understand, easy to play around and optimise, I don't feel like this needed much change. Since we have to grind A LOT to get all the cards and artifacts and everything, I can understand that you don't want players to rush through everything without unlocking things before, but I found this update to be very very hard compared to the difficulty level I was trying to accomplish. I also feel that the difficulty has increase A LOT, and since we have many Apex levels, this kind of bump in difficulty shouldn't be felt too soon, something I could do with relative ease before is now almost impossible because of how hard some fights got. I like having a new character, but changing the way every single thing works in the game was too much. I feel like the last update just added and changed too many things at once. I've bought the game a few months ago, and played here and there when the game got new updates, and I have to say I found that the update before the one we just got was really hitting the spot, for difficulty of fights, simplicity of game mechanics, and overall fun.
